UP Mook Badhir Vidyalaya (also known as UP Deaf & Dumb School) was established in the year 1929 for the welfare & upliftment for the especially abled of our society. We are committed to work towards education of the special (deaf & dumb) children. These kids are an integral part of our society & pillars of the future of our country.
We aim to make every child independent & responsible enough to lead their life with normalcy.
We are registered under Society Registration Act 1860 (XXI) with Society registration No. 2507/1983-84 as local social public body to work as non-profit organization for the welfare of disabled persons and others Social Development

We aim to empower the especially abled children of the society by imparting education and training to provide equal opportunities to live an independent life and bring a change in the society.
- We help students in Speech and Language Development, Hearing Assessment and Auditory Training.
- We also develop an Individualized Educational Plan for each student to provide correct guidance.
- To guide & counsel the parents to support their children.
- To help the students in career guidance & job placements.
- To facilitate residential complex for the students
- To help children & their parents avail government schemes including availing Disability certificate.
- To provide the scholarship to the beneficiaries as per policy of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India, New Delhi
- To provide transportation to the beneficiaries as per policy of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Govt. of India, New Delhi
- To conduct cultural, sports, seminars and other public awareness programme.
